Someone who cares about the change you’re trying to create in the world.
I’ve been trusted to be that person for 25 years in the voluntary sector; working with CEOs, Boards of Trustees, management teams and other stakeholders.
There have been a lot of changes, a lot of challenges, many opportunities and quite a few crises. There’s also been passion, determination, creativity, and real impact. That’s why working with charity leaders is a joy.
The organisations I’ve helped have improved governance, developed and reviewed strategy, managed restructures, wrote successful bids, and reviewed and improved their own quality. I’ve improved decision making, mediated disputes and strengthened boards. I’ve helped influence legislation, developed consensus with diverse stakeholders and overseen critical communications moments.
I’ve helped organisations plan in times of growth and provided crisis support when they were, ahem, in a bit of a pickle. Together, we’ve worked out what matters, what the priorities are, what needs to happen.
